Under the Loupe/Moebius 8213

Moebius 8213

Moebius 8213 is a thixotropic grease for the barrel of automatic watches that have a brass barrel. It is applied only to the barrel wall and is designed to hold the mainspring against the barrel wall while maintaining a "tension threshold", which allows the mainspring to slip when wound too tightly, in order to keep the mainspring from breaking.
