Tacky Mat
A cleanroom tacky mat is used to trap dust and other particles that might otherwise be brought into a watchmaker's room on the soles of people's shoes. A tacky mat is comprised of a series of adhesive sheets, often numbered 1 through 31, that can be removed successively in order to maintain a continuously sticky and effective surface. The mat is usually affixed to the floor at the entrance of a room that is desired to be kept dustproof.
