A glowing Fitrite radium outfit
The Fitrite radium outfit was once used to restore the luminous material of
hands and
dials for watches and small clocks. The kit shown in these photos did not register any radioactivity on a geiger counter and it is unknown if radium was ever featured as part of this kit as other kits that have been sampled did not register radioactivity either. This luminous kit is no longer being produced and has been displaced by other luminescent pastes, such as
Superluminova.
