History/Heiniger, Patrick

Patrick Heiniger

Patrick Heiniger (1950 - ) is the chief executive officer at Rolex.

He spent six years as marketing director of the firm before becoming the third president of Rolex, in 1992; following in the footsteps of his father, André Heiniger, who served as the second president of the company.

Under his direction, the company purchased a large number of its own suppliers, regrouping and centralizing them in the company's expanded headquarters at Plan-les-Ouates in the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland and Bienne in the Canton of Berne, Switzerland.

In 2002, he founded the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Art Initiative.
