Glossary/Rose Gold
Rose Gold
Rose gold (also commonly referred to as pink gold) is a gold alloy, generally containing about 1/4 copper.
Often used interchangeably to describe red gold as well, as the reddish-pink tinge attributed to these alloys is a result of their copper content. The higher the content of copper, the more red the gold appears.
Some alloys of rose gold contain trace amounts of other elements as well. Rolex's Everose gold, for instance, contains platinum in addition to copper and gold.
